Welcome to Wrentham

Brunch and Worship

Many people are curious about God, but find the whole”church thing” off putting. Many people have feelings for God, but have difficulties putting this into words - don’t worry you won’t be asked to, but we might be able to give you some ideas to think about.

Community is so important. So we will start with tea and coffee, bacon rolls and croissants. (That’s the brunch part of the title) and chat together.

There will be music and maybe a video clip or two, just to get us thinking, a reading and songs to focus our thoughts, with a short time for prayer. All very relaxed with times just to talk to each other.

We will have activities for the children.

We want to offer encouragement to everyone in their spirituality - their personal walk with God. This is for people of Wrentham, Frostenden, Henstead and Covehithe (and anyone else of course).

The event will be led by the Rev’d Eric Dore’ and the Rev’d Barrie Slatter. You may know them from their involvement in the local community over the last few years and in the church at Wrentham and around.

It’s just an opportunity to think about faith in a relaxed way - in comfortable surroundings.

So, if you have been to church recently - or if you have not - this is for you!

If you have a Christian background - or if you have not - this is for you.

If you are part of a young family who would like to know more about the Christian faith, but you are worried about long services in church and how children will cope - this is for you.

If you are not so young - or on your own - this is for you.

Whatever your age or whatever your situation - this is for you.

If you want to find out more (or if you can help in any way, with setting up the hall or cooking breakfast or playing a musical instrument, whatever it might be) you can speak to us before the day on 01502 675777 (Eric) or 01986 872100 (Barrie).

Or just turn up (and we have not forgotten that it’s Father's Day).

We would love to see you.

Eric and Barrie.
