Hall Details.

Our hall is situated in the very centre of the village with easy access directly off the A12 into a large parking area.

 

The building contains a large hall with a stage at the east end and a bar and kitchen on the south side.

There is a separate games room that can comfortably seat up to 40 people and next door to that is a committee room, with chairs and tables laid out for up to 15-20 people; both of these rooms are double glazed and have a new, very effective heating system. These smaller rooms can be hired independently from the main hall.

 

The main hall ( L 18mts., W 8.5mts. H 6mts.) was built with badminton in mind, so it has a high ceiling and a cushioned, wooden floor.

The floor is permanently marked up for badminton and we have a net and stands for your use.

 

We have all the required permits for the performance of live and recorded music. The stage  (W 7.5mts. D 3.8mts. H. 5mts.), is elevated at 1mt. above the hall floor level and has a fully operational curtain. There is a screen for films.

 

The kitchen has been completely refurbished and has an oven with 4 hot plates, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, dishwasher, kettles and a large heated electric urn.

 

Outside, there is a large, illuminated  car park laid out in paviers, which is well drained  ( approx. 40 cars ).

Behind the hall is an area of mown grass that is suitable for outside events ( approx. 400sq.mts. ).
